Generator maintenance and repair

Serving the Greater Puget Sound Area, with load testing and semi-annual maintenance agreements.

When the power fails, the set takes over

A standby generator waits through every ordinary day for one moment. Maintenance and load testing are what keep it ready for it.

  1. Power fails

The utility supply drops and the transfer switch senses it.

  2. The set starts

The engine cranks and comes up to speed.

  3. The load transfers

The switch moves the building from the utility to the generator.

  4. The set carries the load

It keeps the building running until the utility returns.

  5. Mains returns

The switch moves the load back to the utility.

  6. The set cools down

The engine runs unloaded, then stops and returns to standby.
